Our Areas
As you find better deer and elk in certain areas of the US, so you also find better species in certain areas of South Africa.
The advantage though, is that South Africa is small enough so that all the different terrains and areas are all within 4
hours drive of each other.
Here at Ultimate Hunting Safaris we don't want to be bound or limited in the species or quality of a certain species that we can offer. Thus, we operate on several concessions throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe.For example: If you wanted to hunt Kudu, Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Gemsbuck, Blesbuck and Springbuck.
Then instead of going to one concession and spending 7-10 nights at the same place, we would suggest that we go north to the Limpopo (Woodland Bush) for Kudu, Impala and Blue Wildebeest and then South to the Eastern Free State (Savannah Plains) for Gemsbuck, Blesbuck and Springbuck. And one can also adopt this approach with add on tours, where we start or end the hunt close to Kruger for example.
This doesn't make our packages and prices any more expensive, but it allows you to see and experience more of what our beautiful country has to offer. Also if you have already hunted a certain area and would like to see and experience a different part of South Africa, contact us, let us know what you are interested in doing and we will tailor a safari to suite your every need.
All of our concessions are a minimum of 6000 acres, most of them in excess of 12 000 acres and in total we operate on roughly 150 000 acres of prime hunting grounds throughout
South Africa.
Our Camps
Our camps in the Northern regions of South Africa are situated deep in the bush, far away from civilization. In the Southern regions the camps are situated high up on the mountain sides. Easily accessible by vehicle, but with breath taking views of the valley below and the game that seems to be scattered across the valley floor.
All our camps are equipped with 220 volt electricity, ensuite bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and very comfortable beds and bedding. Our chefs and staff members will cater to your every need, enhanced by a superior personal service and a very intimate safari experience.
Expect outstanding meals and outdoor dining on the deck overlooking the vast expanses of Africa, while enjoying the night symphony and vibrant stars above.
With the daily laundry services and the housekeeping staff, your room will be replenished with fresh towels and the return of your clean laundry on a daily basis.
